My Lhasa started scratching about 4 years ago - at 7 years of age. She is miserable and the odor of her skin is atrocious. The only thing that helps is steroids - which we don't want to give her. Any suggestions outside the expensive and torturous round of allergy tests? We put her on a rice and lamb dog food diet and has helped somewhat but not completely. HELP!
