Getting kids to clean their rooms!

Hi all!
Ltns! I'm still around...just very busy with my website. I'm even in the web design business these days!

I'm sitting here with Lauren (age 7) behind me crying her eyes out because I won't let her play with the child next door until she cleans her room. I warned her of this on Monday, so she's had time to do it. But now she simply "doesn't want to" clean her room. So she sobbing. Any advice on how to get kids to clean their rooms without having to resort to this? I even offered to help her, but she's not interested. I can't keep up with all the cleaning of the kitchen, living room, bathrooms, etc. much less 3 kids rooms. They need to take some responsibility for their own territory. The question remains: How do I get them to do it?
