Party Punch
(from the kitchen of Carol Linkkila)
From Bruce & Jill's Favourite Family Recipes

1 pint water
2 cups sugar
1 quart tea
1 can pineapple juice
1 quart orange juice
juice of 6 lemons
1 can grated pineapple
1 bottle cherries
2 liter bottle of ginger ale

Combine all ingredients. Add ginger ale just before serving. Garnish with sliced citrus fruit or ice ring. Suitable for a party.

Party Punches

I. Mix following ingredients together; freeze to slush consistency
and serve "slushy".

1 (46oz) can pineapple juice 1/2 bottle vodka
1 (46oz) can Hawaiian Punch 1 liter ginger ale

II. Put into container in freezer (stir occasionally while freezing)
the following ingredients:

2 C whiskey 1 (6oz) can frozen lemonade
1 large can pineapple juice 1 (6oz) can frozen orange juice
1 large bottle ginger ale
To serve: put 2/3 slush to 1/3 seven-up in each glass or same ratio
in punch bowl.

III. Mix the following ingredients together and freeze. When slushy

drink as is or mix with 7-up.

10 oz frozen strawberries 7 C water
1 (12oz) can frozen orange jc 2 C tea
1 (12oz) can frozen lemonade 1 1/2 C sugar
3 C light rum

Wedding Punch

3 3-oz pkgs cherry gelatin
9 cups boiling water
4 cups sugar
4 cups water
2 46-oz can pineapple juice
6 oz can frozen orange juice concentrate
4 Tbsp lemon juice
1 2 liter bottle ginger ale

Dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water in a large saucepan.
In a separate saucepan boil together the sugar and 4 cups water.
Add the pineapple juice, orange juice and lemon juice. Cool.
Combine the gelatin and juice mixtures. Pour into plastic containers
and freeze. Set out about 3 hours before serving. Add the ginger
ale just before serving. The punch will be slushy.
