I want to paint my son's dresser. It already has one coat of paint on it (another color). Can I paint over it or do I have to strip it? Also, what type of paint should I purchase? In addition, we want to sponge paint stars and moons on the drawers. Any and all advice including step by step INSTRUCTIONS would be helpful.
