Patsy's Broccoli Cheese Soup
Steam or microwave: 1 stem of broccoli (cut up) and 1 large carrot (sliced very thin)
Heat : 2 cup chicken broth and 2 cup half n' half
Then add: 1/2 tsp. salt, dash white pepper, 1 lb. velveta cheese (cut into chunks), 1/8 tsp. nutmeg.
Then, add the steamed broccoli, and carrot.
Thicken with 1/2 cup cornstarch mixed with 1 cup water
This is the best Broccoli Cheese Soup you will ever put in your mouth!!!
