Caramel Cookies for Cookie Press
- 1 cup crisco shortening
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
SIFT these together:
- 3 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
Cream shortening and gradually add the both sugars.
Gradually add the flour mixture.
Fill the cookie press and form cookies on a ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 350 degrees for 10 to 15 mins.
Yield: 70 cookies
