saute the beef, onions, peppers, and garlic.
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup heinz 57
- 1/3 cup lea & perrin
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 each red and green pepper, chopped (I like to roast mine first)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 16 oz. can ea. great northern and pinto beans.
then add the beans and liquid ingredients, stir and simmer.
add no water.
this is not like chili but rather thick.
hot sauce is optional, but we like the sweet and sour flavor.
we love these over a campfire.
