Buttermilk-Pecan Chicken

Melt 1/2 cup butter in a 9x12 baking pan. Set aside.
Rinse one fryer, cut-up, or 4 breasts or other pieces as so desired. Set aside.

1 cup flour
1/2 cup crushed pecans
2 teas. paprika
salt & pepper to taste

Mix together and set aside.

1 cup Buttermilk
1 egg

Mix together and set aside.

Dip chicken pieces in buttermilk/egg mixture, dredge in flour mixture.
Place in the pan with melted butter, turn each piece over to get butter on both sides.
Top with chopped pecans.
Bake at 350 one hour, or until done.
