tomatoes chopped
onions chopped
Pita bread

MEAT:

5 lbs lean ground beef
1/2 tsp black and red pepper
1 tsp oregano, salt
2 tsp onion powder, garlic powder
3 tsp paprika
1 1/4 c bread crumbs

Mix together well, cook for 3 hrs, at 300 F in a covered casserole.
May be cut into meal size portions and frozen.

SAUCE:

1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 c sugar
3/4 c evaporated milk
2 1/2 Tbsp vinegar

Place garlic, sugar and milk in a pot; slowly add vinegar over low heat until thickened

Assembly:

Lightly grease a fry pan and sprinkle with water each time.
Fry each pita on both sides until soft and heated slightly.
Crumble meat onto center of pita, top with chopped onions and chopped tomato.
Pour sauce over top.. wrap up pita, wrap foil around it and serve immediately.
