18 lollipop sticks
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. sugar
few drops of food color

Lightly butter baking sheet (15 1/2 x 12-inches).
Arrange lollipop sticks on baking sheet. Combine butter, corn
syrup and sugar in heavy 1 quart saucepan. Heat to boiling over
medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low,
continue cooking, stirring frequently to 270 degrees on candy thermom-
eter. Stir in food color; drop mixture by teaspoon over end of
each lollipop stick. If desired, while lollipops are cooling
drop or press in candy decorations.

or in molds. In 1-quart saucepan, combine butter, corn syrup
and sugar; heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring
occasionally. Reduce heat to medium; continue cooking, stir-
ring frequently, to 270 degrees on candy thermometer or until a few
drops of syrup dropped into very cold water separate into
threads that are hard but not too brittle. Remove from heat.
Stir in food color. Drop mixture by tablespoon over end of
each stick. If desired, when hot, press on candy decorations.
To decorate when cool, brush underside of candy decorations
with corn syrup; press onto lollipops. Makes 18 (2-inch)
lollipops.

**Pour into 3 heat proof measuring cups.
Add mints drops to one.
Raspberry oil to one.
Orange flavoring.
Lemon oil to one.
Strawberry oil to one.
Cherry flavoring to one.
Cinnamon oil in one.
Choose the flavor, stir in oils or flavorings, stir and pour in molds.
