APPLE CRISP

8 granny smith apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Toss apples with sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch until well coated. Place in 8-inch square baking dish.

Put flour, brown sugar and butter in a food processor. Pulse until crumbly. Add nuts and pulse until nuts are coarsely chopped. Place the topping onto the apples and bake for 45 minutes.
