Absolutely use a pressure cooker. Rather than wait 10 hours for a slow cooker I can pop a large brisket in the pressuer cooker and 45 minutes later have a fork-tender roast that is infused with the flavor. An added bonus is the energy conservation which, here in power crisis California, translates into real money savings. Visit the link below for many new p/c recipes. Pressure cookers are very popular these days, and unlike the hissing, spitting models used in the past, they have important new safety features. I'm still using a 30 year old Presto that just won't quit. I'm hinting to dh that I sure would like a like a fancy new model, and it's not that long to Christmas. LOL
