Mississippi Mud Pie

1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup margarine, cut up
1/4 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 chopped pecans
2 pints coffee ice cream, divided
Prepared chocolate crumb crust

Combine sugar, chocolate chips, butter, cream & syrup in a small pan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
Stir in vanilla & cool.
Put 1/3 of this sauce in the bottom of the crust. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the nuts. Put 1 pint of ice cream over the nuts. Freeze for 10 minutes.
Repeat layer.
Top with last 1/3 of sauce & nuts. Freeze for at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.

Mississippi Mud Pie II

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 (12 oz.) container nondairy whipped topping,
thawed
1 (3 oz.) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (3 oz.) package instant butterscotch pudding
mix
3 cups milk

Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter. Press firmly onto the bottom and sides of a 9" pie plate.
Blend together the cream cheese and sugar, mixing well. Fold in half the whipped topping. Spread mixture in the crust-lined pie plate.
Mix together the pudding mixes and milk; mixing well. Spread on top of the cream cheese mixture. Top with the remaining whipped topping.

Mississippi Mud Pie

2 sticks butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup chopped pecans (opt.)
1 jar marshmallow creme
Frosting:
1 stick butter
6 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Mix butter, 2 eggs, sugar and cocoa together. Add vanilla, 2 eggs, flour and pecans (if using), mix well. Put into a greased 11x14 pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven. While cake is hot, spread 3/4 jar of marshmallow creme on top.
Frosting:
Mix together all ingredients. Spread over marshmallow topping.
