FUDGE MELTAWAYS
1/2 c. butter
1 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla1 egg, beaten
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. butter1 tbsp. milk or cream
2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
Melt 1/2 cup butter and 1 square chocolate in saucepan. Blend granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, eggs, crumbs, coconut and nuts into butter-chocolate mixture. Mix well and press into ungreased baking dish, 11 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 1 1/2" or square pan, 9" x 9" x 1 3/4". Refrigerate. Mix 1/4 cup butter, milk, confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over crumb mixture. Chill. Melt 1 1/2 squares chocolate and spread over chilled filling. Chill. Cut before firm. Makes 3 to 4 dozen squares.

BROWNIES MELTAWAY

1 (21.5 oz.) pkg.
Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
About 2 tbsp. milk
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 tsp. butter

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare brownies as directed on package except stir coconut and nuts into dough. Bake. Cool.
Mix powdered sugar, 1/3 cup butter and 6 oz chocolate chips and spread over top.

**Sprinkle with butterscotch chips if you like..



PEANUT BUTTER MELTAWAY BARS

1/4 lbs. white chocolate
1 1/4 lbs. milk chocolate
1 tbsp. oil
1 c. peanut butter

Melt chocolates and oil in microwave.

Add peanut butter and stir well until mixed thoroughly.
Pour into greased 9x13 inch pan.
Let cool at room temperature at least 6 hours.

PEANUT BUTTER MELTAWAY COOKIES

1 2/3 c. flour
1/3 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 lb. room temperature butter (1 stick)
1/3 c. chunky peanut butter
2/3 c. confectioners' sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
6 oz. chocolate candy kisses

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder and soda. Beat the 1/4 pound butter with the peanut butter. Add sugars and beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in dry ingredients. Shape dough in 1 1/4 inch balls. Press a chocolate kiss, flat side down into each ball and press dough up sides of Kiss onto only point is visible. Put cookies on baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart. Bake until lightly browned at the edges and beginning to brown on top (about 10 minutes). Per cookie 109 calories; protein 2 g; fat 6 g; sodium 37 mg; carbohydrates 13 g; cholesterol 14 mg. Work time 40 minutes. Total time 1 hour.
