Fudge Meltaway bars
These bars are fantastic. The bars are
really sweet and then the layer of
unsweetened chocolate on top really
complements the sweetness. They do contain
one raw egg, so if eggs are a problem in your
area, look for pasteurized eggs.

Bottom layer
1/2 cup margarine
1 square unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg, beaten
2 cup graham crackers, crushed
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup nuts (I use walnuts)

Melt margarine and chocolate in a saucepan.
Combine with remaining ingredients. Press
firmly into a 9x9 pan. Chill.

Second layer
1/4 cup margarine
1 Tbsp milk
2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Mix together and spread on the chilled
chocolate and graham cracker layer. Chill
again.

Top layer
1 1/2 to 2 unsweetened chocolate

Melt in saucepan and spread on bars.

Chill again.

Cut into small squares (they are really rich)
and enjoy. Store in refrigerator.
