Cookies:
12 oz bag "M&M's"® Chocolate Minis Baking Bits
1-1/4 (281g) cups butter, softened
2 cups (450g) sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons (10mL) vanilla
2 cups (450g) +2 tablespoons (28mL) all-purpose flour
3/4 cup (169g) cocoa powder
1 teaspoon (5 mL) baking soda
Vanilla Frosting:
1/2 cup (113g) butter, softened
4 cups (900g) powdered sugar
2 teaspoons (10mL) vanilla
4 - 6 teaspoons (20 - 30mL) milk
Chocolate Glaze:
1 cup (225g) powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon (2.3mL) vanilla
2 teaspoons milk
4 teaspoons (20mL) cocoa powder

Remove red and green "M&M's® Candies and set aside for decoration. Preheat oven to 350° F (177° C). In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in remaining "M&M's"® Chocolate Minis Baking Bits. Drop teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 - 9 minutes. (Do not overbake; cookies will be soft. They will puff during baking, flatten upon cooling.) Cool on cookie sheets, about 1 minute; move to wire rack to cool completely.
Prepare frosting by beating butter with powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla and enough milk for a spreading consistency; frost cookies.

Prepare Chocolate Glaze by blending powdered sugar with cocoa powder, vanilla, and milk until smooth. Place in zipper tight plastic sandwich bag. Snip off one corner of bag (no more than 1/8 inch). Holding top of bag, drizzle glaze onto cookies; decorate with red and green "M&M's"® Chocolate Minis Baking Bits.
Makes about 4 dozen.
