This is the best...no milk!
1 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 stick butter or margarine
1/2 c.flour 3 eggs, separated
3 T. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. water
Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, with enough of the water to
make a paste. Add egg yolks. Mix the rest of the
ingredients. Boil rest of water with margarine and
dash of salt. Add chocolate mixture and cook until
thick. Add vanilla. Throw away the egg whites and
top with whipped cream!! (P.S. I do all this in the
microwave)
