Last week I found Pillsbury "Easter" cookie dough in my freezer. You know the kind that has the characters in the center and you slice them and bake them. Well since Easter had already passed and I had 4 rolls in there that I bought and froze and forgot to make for Easter, I decided to try something. I got the mini muffin pan from Pampered Chef, I sliced each roll into 9 slices, quartered each slice, put one quarter in each muffin cup, pressed it in with my little tart shaper (floured so it wouldn't stick to the dough) and baked them for 10-12 min at 350. Some of them I topped with chocolate chips, some with Nestle Crunch pieces, some were just plain. They turned out so cute. They looked like little marbled cakes. I took them to a slumber party my daughter went to and they all loved them. You couldn't even tell they were Easter cookies. They looked like I had taken the time to marble each little cookie.
