SLOPPY JOE PIZZA BREAD

1 lb. lean ground beef
3/4 cup frozen corn, defrosted
3/4 cup prepared barbecue sauce
1/2 cup sliced scallions
1/2 tsp. salt
1 prepared pizza crust or large loaf of Italian bread
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar
In large nonstick skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Pour off drippings.

Stir in corn, barbecue sauce, scallions and salt, if desired; heat through.

If using an Italian bread, slice the loaf in half horizontally and hollow out the halves to make a shell for the filling. Place bread shell or pizza crust on large baking sheet. Top evenly with beef mixture; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 425 degrees or until cheese melts; cut into 6 pieces. Makes 6 servings.
