HERSHEY FUDGE

3 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet
chocolate bits
4 1/2 c. white sugar
1 (16 oz.) can Pet cream
1/2 lb. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)

Combine milk and sugar; mix well. Bring to a boil;
boil about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over choco-
late bits. Add butter and vanilla; beat until bits melt. Add
nuts; pour into buttered dish. Refrigerate.

HERSHEY FUDGE

2/3 c. cocoa
3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla

Thoroughly combine dry ingredients in a heavy 4-quart
saucepan. Stir in milk; bring to a bubbly boil, on medium
heat. Stir constantly. Then boil without stirring until
temperature is 234 degrees. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
Do not stir. Cool at room temperature, 110 degrees, until fudge
thickens and loses its gloss. Quickly spread in a lightly
buttered pan.

HERSHEY'S FUDGE

2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 (12 oz.) bags milk chocolate
chips
1/2 c. butter
1 Tbsp. vanilla
nuts (optional)

Bring milk and sugar to a boil. Boil for 6 minutes. In
another bowl, cut up butter; add chips and vanilla. Stir in
milk and sugar mixture. Beat until smooth. Add nuts, if
desired. Refrigerate for 6 hours.
