St. Pat's Creamy Sherbert

1 small pack of lime gelatin (3 0z)
1 cup boiling water
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 6 oz can thawed frozen limeade concentrate
pinch of salt
1 quart of milk
1 pint half and half
1/4 tsp green food coloring

In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in water,add sugar,limeade and salt. Stir until all is dissolved and
add the remaining ingredients. Stir well. Put in an ice cream machine and follow the instructions of the machine.
