Epsom Bath Salts

2 cups Epsom salts
1/2 teaspoon food coloring (if desired, use caution)
1/2 drop fragrance oil (1/2 to 1)
1/2 cup dried rose petals (crumble to near powder)

Mix all ingredients. Makes lovely bath salts. Package in favorite bottle. Use canning jar and decorate lid specific to season.

Bath Salts - recipe 2

4 cups Epsom salts
2 cups sea salt (this is considered base salts)
Essential oils for scents
Glycerin if decided (no more than 2 tablespoons)

Mix the two salts together and use as base. Take 2 cups and scent as desired. Color if desired too. Glycerin will soften skin, but place warning tag that reads NOT FOR USE IN JACUZZIS. Store in zip lock bag for two weeks, shaking daily. After 2 week period is up, pour into pretty jars and decorate.

Bath Salts - recipe 3

2 cups Epsom salts
1 cup sea or rock salt
3 tbsp glycerin
scented oils and/or food coloring

Mix together in large bowl and bag up with colored saran wrap and holiday ribbons.
