Apple Santas - Use big red apple. Using tooth picks as arms and legs push
on some large marshmallows and cranberries for hands and feet. Poke
toothpick where head needs to go, add 1/2 fluffed up cotton ball for beard, a marshmallow for face, other 1/2 of cotton ball for hat with cranberry on top. Use cloves for eyes and buttons.

Christmas Trees - Place a cake ice cream cone upside down on a small paper plate. Paint the cone with green frosting and decorate with candy.

Decorated Sugar Cookies - Buy Pillsbury sugar cookie dough and freeze for approximately 45 minnutes before use (this firms up the dough so that it can be rolled out). Roll on lightly floured wax paper and cut with your favorite holiday cookie cutters. Bake and decorate according to directions. This was a favorite cooking activity with my first graders!

Butter Cookie Christmas Wreath - Take a butter cookie, spread with green frosting and add red hots for berries.
