Napa Salad

1 or 2 heads of Napa lettuce
5 or 6 green onions

Chop and place in large bowl.

1 stick butter
1/2 to 1 tsp sesame seeds
2 packages ramen noodles, crush in package (do not use
seasoning)
1 small package slices almonds

Melt butter in skillet and toast ingredients until ingredients
are light brown. Toss with lettuce and onions.

Dressing:

1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce

Mix in a shaker container. Shake well and mix with above
right before serving.

Napa Cabbage Slaw with Dill

6 cups thinly sliced Napa cabbage (about 1 1/2 pounds)
2 carrots, grated
2 tablespoons minced fresh dill
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons red-wine vinegar
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

In a large bowl combine the cabbage, carrot, and dill.

In small bowl, combine sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour over
vegetables and toss to combine well. Serve.

Serves 4 to 6.
