: Looking for a receipe for suckers that is easy for the kids to make

----------------------------
Basic Hard Candy Recipe: 2 Cups Sugar, 2/3 cups light corn syrup, 3/4 cups water, oil flavors and color. Blend sugar and water-Bring to boil over high until 290 degrees. Remove from heat. Allow to stand until bubbles have summered down. Add flavoring and color, as desired. To much stirring will cause syrup ato solidify into a hard sugary lump. Mold into desired shapes in PAM sprayed Hard Candy Molds. Work fast. Keep mixture warm over hot water. If mixture becomes too cold and thick, it may be warmed for a few seconds in a microwave. Storage: When completely cooled, store in aire tight containers or place them individually in the 3x5 plastic sucker bags and seal with scotch tape.
