Creamy Devine Rice Pudding

5 cups milk

1 can (14 oz) sweet condensed milk (not evaporated)

3/4 cup white long grain rice

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup mixed dried fruit (raisins,cherries,apricots,ect)

1/4 tsp salt


Heat the milk with the condensed milk to a boil. Stir in the rice, & salt. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer slowly covered for about 75-90 minutes, until it thickens and rice is completely tender. Stir occasionally through out cooking.

Remove from heat, whisk in vanilla and dried fruit.

Chill or cool to warm, serve with whip cream
