hi.. well i have parakeets and usually your local pet store will have them for no more than $20.. so far ive found the most expenisive ones at Petsmart for $19.99 but they are usually everywhere... but make sure that you get one young so that they are nicer and can be trained easier (you can usually find how young they are by the amount of black dots on their "cheeks"... the more there are, the older they are..)
