Dear Missy, I went to the local Walmart store and found a small book, 32 pages. I bought it because I have a squirrel that I feed out of my hand on my patio. The book is called: ENJOYING SQUIRRELS MORE (OR LESS)- an experts guide to backyard squirrels (whether you love them or hate them!). I thought of you when I read through the book. There is some very good info about deterring squirrels from bird feeders. You may be able to use some of the tactics to get them out of the trees. One good one was to use sheet metal around the base of the tree. The squirrels can't get grip to climb up the tree. I was thinking maybe they'll move to another where the dogs are not at. The squirrel I have is a ground squirrel. I live in the back country of San Diego County. Tree squirrels I am not that familiar with but I guess they can jump from tree to tree. So I don't know if it will work, depending on how close another tree is. The publisher of the book is: Pardson Corporation, PO. Box 110, Marietta, Ohio 45750 1-800-879-2473 I paid less than $3.00 for it. Very good info in it. Good luck! Bilman. : We have an Ausrialian Sheppard who passes her time barking at squirrels who passes their time playing in our trees. (Those squirrels are teasing the dog!)

: Now we added a second dog (Austrialian Cattle Dog) who has picked up the habit.

: Before the neighbors unite, does anyone have an idea on how I can deal with this? Thanks!!
