I know exactly what you mean and believe me I've told my son the same thing. I said "if they pick with you act like it doesn't bother you and it the joke will be on them because they'll see that it doesn't bother you". Kids enjoy picking with other kids and seeing them get upset especially if there are more than one that is doing it. I'm just hoping that with him going into third grade things will be different - I'm hoping he will develop "thicker skin" and not allow the kids to rub him the wrong way.
