Great Idea!
We have family night on Sundays. Each Sunday we take turns picking an activity to do as a family. Some of the things we have done are: Everyone gets to read their favorite book, build your own sundae, play a game, etc.
My children are (6,4 and 1), the two older ones love it. You are right...time is flying bye!
