When my son was 2-2/12 he was into hitting and pushing too. He was also advanced for the class he was in. He couldnt' play with most of the kids, half of them weren't even talking yet. He needed more structure, like a real class. So i finnaly pushed hard enough for him to move to the 3-4 yr old room. He loves it there!! And i haven't heard of any bad behavior. He was BORED!! and needed to a way to get attention. His advancedness (is that a word?) was allowing the teachers to put their focus on the more needy kids. Try moving your child to a more advanced class or even school.
