I'm looking for instructions for a specific craft. When I was little my aunt gave us a small jelly jar filled with treats. She had decorated the lid by covering it with a mound salt dough and then glued on candy treats upon the dough and sprayed with urethane to seal it all. Does this sound familiar? I don't know if she baked the lid with the salt dough on it, I'm not sure how she did this part. I do have a few recipes for salt dough, but I was looking for more specific instructions. Otherwise, I might just go for it myself and see what happens! I wanted to decorate with Christmas candies and put some Christmas treats inside...great for a teacher's gift.
