Just wanted to say thank you for replying. i have not thought of second hand stores though, i will check those out this weekend. i also try to pick up material at yard sales, usually if you find a yard sale with a sewing machine advertised, you can bet they will also have sewing accessories and material also. again thank you for you ideas. yvette
