: : This may sound strange but... I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to go about painting metal cookie cutters a shiny copper color. I want to use them as decoration but I'm not sure what type of paint would work on that kind of surface.

: : Thanks.
Joan, Try oil paints thinned out with turps (the sort used by artists)- this worked nicely on both copper and aluminium for me. Do let the paint dry for two or more days,if possible.
