I did this last year with the children by slicing up oranges, lemons, apples (although these didn't work too well and placed them in an oven over a grill rather than on a baking sheet. It took all day to dry them out at 100 even though the slices were only 0.5cm thick. Any other ideas would be appreciated should anyone know of a better way. We decorated the Christmas tree with them as an alternative to baubles and the children were really proud of their acomplishments.
