: : : looking for ideas for christmas party favors to give out at an adult christmas party - any suggestions?

: I am from Canada. Its quite popular here to have what is known as christmas crackers. They are usually about 5" long tubes decorated in flashy wrap with small gifts inside as well as a paper snapper. You can make your own using toilet tissue rolls, I put in candies and a lottery ticket along with the snapping paper (you can purchase these at craft stores, they are long thin strip of paper with something like cap gun powder on them and when you pull each end (which stick out both ends of the roll) it snaps. They are quite fun. I make my own, I use christmas fabric as a wrapper because it doesn't tear when I tie the bows on the ends.

HELP!!!!!!!

Could someone please tell me where I can find the snaps for christmas crackers in Canada?
Please give a name of a store in the Montreal area or a mail order company within Canada.
Any help on this issue would be appreciated.
Please contact me at jl.roman_myleneg@sympatico.ca

Thank you!
