: I begin my starter with: 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup milk. The day you make your starter is considered Day 1. Continue the recipe for Days 2-10. If you don't have one let me know, I can e-mail you one. I've seen a few different recipes for this bread.
