just found a quick and easy gift for a teacher for christmas. you can buy small chalk boards at any craft store for a couple of dollars, i stained the wood around the slate , wrote the teachers name on the top, and painted apples around it. stuck two magnets on the back. wrote # 1 teacher in chalk and taadaa!! took me about 30 minutes, staining and all! good luck crafting for christmas !
