Scented Pinecones

Spray pinecones with gold metallic craft paint; dry completely.

Using a cotton swab or small paintbrush, dab inside edges of pinecone with clear-drying glue.
Sprinkle with ground cloves or cinnamon. Tap off excess spice.

Let dry and arrange in a basket. Decorate with colorful ribbon or greenery.

Cinnamon Scented Pinecones

Put pinecones in a shallow pan and place them in the oven at 250* and leave them for an hour or
more, this will kill any little critters inside.

Let cool and place in a plastic garbage bag and sprinkle well with *cinnamon potpourri oil*. You
can find this at any craft store or Wal-Mart in the craft department.

Tie the bag tightly to close and let set at least 2 weeks. After using for a long time you may need
to put them back in the bag and add more oil and let set as above for a couple of weeks.
