Disclaimer & FAQ

Soccer coach, room parent, a parent of an ADD/ADHD child, mom's who breastfeed, dad's who stay-home, working parents, single parents, grandparents who are raising their grandchildren or who live with their grandchildren, homeschooling parents, Boy Scout Leader, Girl Scout Leader, and the list goes on. This is just a small list of what we like to call: parenting life-styles. For every child there is a club, sport or special need, and because of this somewhere there is a parent who has become somewhat of an expert in certain parenting life-styles.

The Parenting Guild is a section of parenting life-styles. We have found so many mom's and dad's who, while not professional in the sense that they have a degree or diploma, are veritable fonts of information on certain aspects of parenting. They have become experts through real life situations, lots of research and just plain old common sense. The Guild hopes that through the medium of the Web, we might be able to help a parent who is looking for information, advice or just someone to talk to about their particular parenting life-style.

While each area of the Guild has a section leader who is knowledgeable in their subject, this does not mean we don't welcome ideas or articles from others who have an interest in that subject. In fact we welcome submissions to any area.

We also appreciate articles from those people who do hold a degree or diploma in area's pertaining to parenting. We are building a section of facts, advice and articles who's contributes will be doctors, nurses, mid-wives and various other family professionals.
