I am a mother of 4 boys (hence the nick) and I have to agree that you should not persue this relationship. I would not want my 23yo son dating a 16 yo girl. 6 years is not a big difference if you are 23 and 29 but it is a big difference when you are 16 & 23. She is still a child and you are an adult. Wait 3 years and go back and see if she is available.
