: You're 23, she's 16. If she were my daughter and you even tried to have a relationship with her I'd have some serious issues. First of all, you're an adult and she is a child. In most states what you are thinking about could be considered a crime.

We're only 7 years apart... to me this isn't that big a gap & I think the laws only deal with having sex winth someone under 18. I didn't say I that's what I wanted... I want to be her boyfriend. Waiting a few years till she's 19/20 wouldn't be a big deal to me.

: Secondly, why aren't you interested in a woman your own age?

I've only asked one girl out before, she said yes but we never did go out. She now goes to college about a hour and a half drive from here, wouldn't be a big deal for me to drive if she was my gf, but I guess she didn't like the prospects.

:Let this girl grow up before you act on any impulse you have. Finally, she has a boyfriend. Why would you even want to take away something she obviously cares about? Are you so egotistical that you believe you are better than he is?

You don't know me, don't presume to think I am egotistical.

: My advice to you is leave her alone. Find someone your own age.

Well I'll take your advice under consideration, but I'm looking for unbiased opinion. I don't belive an individual can give that, but a council can which is why I posted to public message board. I'm hoping to get a wide enough spectrum of individuals to make up for any cultural biasisms.
