I applaud you as well as the judge. You didn't try to help your daughter out of the mess she got herself into, and you stood by what the judge said. Today so many parents think their child can do no wrong and will fight whatever punishment comes their child's way, without ever making that child pay for their mistakes. It is a good think your daughter wasn't hurt in her joyriding, and hopefully she will learn from her mistakes and take the privileges she has more seriously. Driving is not a right, it is a privilege.
