I also suggest that you could have the ears pierced at the same hair salon that you usually go to to have your hair cut. You would know them, and their techniques.


: My daughter had her ears pierced this summer. She's 8. We had them done at the mall, at Merle Norman. What ever place you choose, make sure they disinfect your daughter's ears well. The earrings are in a gun type thing and are shot into the ear lobe. The sound is scarier than the actual piercing. Don't let them do both at once, that's how they end up lopsided. Make sure your daughter puts peroxide on her ears several times a day and turns the earrings according to instructions. Some say to put Neosporin on also, but we never did that.
