I think you might be looking for Bizcocho Criollo which is the Dominican National Cake. There is a recipe at this site.
Tres Leches Cake is Nicaraguan in origin, although it is very popular in Cuban restaurants in South Florida.
I believe Dulce de Leche Cheesecake was first introduced by the Cheesecake Factory. Dulce de Leche is used widely in Latin America for many confections. I believe it is Argentinian in origin.
