I have used them with my Pre-school class to make mini-wheelbarrel planters. I washed and dried the cups. Then I let the children fill the cup with soil. The children then planted seeds in their cups. I then had the children paint two (2) milk bottle lids black. When they were dry, I hot glued one lid on each side of the "wheelbarrel" for wheels. Lastly, we tied a ribbon onto the cup handle. They were so cute. We gave them to our Mother's for Mother's Day!

I was at a wedding where they used them for the little rememberance holders, the matches, the scrolls, the ballons or small napkins and the tiny mints, were put into them.
The cups themselves were modge-podged with wonderful colors and trimmed with ribbon and string-beads(the pearlized ones) on the handles and lace around the cup itself.

(the neat part of it all was that the laundry cups were all donated by the women who attended the bridal shower and the bridesmaids and their families. a great way to reuse!!)
