/list = gives a list of channels (rooms) on the server

/j channelname = lets you join whatever channel you want

/join #channelname = just a longer version of /j

/close = will close the room that you are in

/quit = will close the room your in, and exit you from the server

/me = show's your nickname then whatever text you type in light blue

/dns = show's the persons address info

/names #roomname = shows the people in that room

/ping nickname = to find out how many seconds behind the server the person is

/whois = finds out what someone's address is..and what room they are in
